You can also type вЂњmc_settingsвЂќ into the Sims command line which is found via вЂњcontrol-shift-cвЂќ. (This is an older shot вЂ“ it now has DeaderpoolвЂ™s icon on the option now, but itвЂ™s the same thing). There is also an MC Command Menu item when you click on a sim or on a mailbox. You may need to enable scripts mods if you havenвЂ™t already done so вЂ“ or if the game has been patched recently.Д¬lick on Menu > Game Options > Other and check the option to allow script mods and enable Custom Content and Mods. This allows the game to look four folders deep inside your Mods folder for more packages.

On a Windows machine, Notepad will be fine. It might ask you what program to open it with. In your mods folder, right-click on the resource.cfg file and click open.

OPTIONAL вЂ“ You will only need to do this the first time you install MCC. So if you donвЂ™t see it either make a blank folders called вЂњModsвЂќ (capital M) or just start up the game for the first time and itвЂ™ll show up. The Mods folder will appear after you first play the game.

If your game is installed normally, you will find your Mods folder here: My Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
